Our poll (link) shows overwhelming support for better qualifications. Those that don’t have them will be increasingly disadvantaged and so will their employers
Why don’t many universities seem interested in work-based learning?
The more progressive are already working towards external validation services and progression routes. We work with a wide range of universities and we will help you identify and build a relationship with the most relevant for you. The final choice of a university partner is yours but we manage the process for you.
We already allow people to do day release; why is this any better?
This is targeted to their on-the-job experience; they can see the relevance of what they are learning and it doesn’t require absence during working hours. It also means that their learning is directly related to their work.
What does it cost?
It depends on the complexity of what’s required, but will be cost effective as it is customised to suit the organisation and product and builds on what people already do in the workplace.
Do I need to change how I train people?
No, our process will help you refine what you already do and make everything more rigorous, measurable and manageable
We’ve tried Government schemes before and there was a lot of admin hassle – will this be the same?
The hassle comes from satisfying the requirements of government funding. If you’re paying for what you want then there’s no hassle; it will fit with your needs and improve processes
